I was the Features Editor of the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania student ran newspaper for two years, 2015-2017. While continuing to write for this newspaper that put out one issue a week, I was in charge of creating the Features section newspaper pages. This meant I had to review all articles before they were placed into the InDesign document. Using Photoshop to edit any photos, all articles and photos were placed into the InDesign document. With the Features section, I had the ability to be a little more creative with my pages and artwork, which you can see below. Each of these pages were designed by myself. I gained the experience of working on a team and independently, with programs such as InDesign and Photoshop, and learned more about the journalism field.
